Software - Seismic Interpretation
xline
-overview
With the rise in popularity of smaller 3D surveys in the early 2000's came the need for a lightweight, simple interpretation package. Beginning over 10 years ago, xline was developed in-house to evaluate 3D prospects and will soon be available for the public. With xline you can easily autopick, edit and plot horizons, view inlines, crosslines, or arbitrary lines and import shp files as well as RRC well spots and symbols. While not as sophisticated as other premiere 3D packages, xline offers small E&P companies a simple interpretation solution at a fraction of the cost. Since xline is built upon Mathematica's framework it can be run on either Windows or macOS and it easily runs on a modern laptop.
