Interpretation

Atlas specializes in North Texas geophysical work and has interpreted over 1,000 square miles of 3D seismic to date.  Using a workstation in conjunction with xline and IHS's Petra, all steps of the interpretation process can be custom tailored to specific needs. If an unconventional interpretation technique is desired, a custom routine can be written to calculate the special attribute. Horizon/structure mapping, creating isopach sections, synthetic traces and velocity modeling are all part of a standard interpretation. The customer is provided with a USB thumb drive that contains all interpretation maps and sections, including every inline and crossline from a 3D with the picked horizons highlighted.
